Beech Lodge Nursing Home offers elderly residential
care in Limerick, Ireland.
The nursing home is located in Bruree, County limerick
and has been purpose built for elderly residential care.
The Beechlodge Nursing Home Care Services includes
the Convalescence and Post Operative Care Plan, which
assists individuals with recuperation and recovery post
surgery and hospitalisation.
Our mission is to promote the dignity, individuality
and independence of all those in our care and to assist
people in achieving and maintaining all the goals and
objectives needed to retain that highest level of physical
and emotional well-being.
Daily Elderly Residential Care
Breakfast is served in the bedroom from 7.00am onwards
or in the dining room if preferred at the residents
request.
Morning time typically involves the following activities,
dressing, showering (all aided by carers if required),
reading newspapers, listening to radio, walking and
morning coffee.
Weekly activities such as Mass, Chiropody and Hairdressing
normally occur during the morning time also.
Lunch is served at 12.30pm in the Dining Room or in
the Residents room if required.
Following lunch the normal daily activities i.e. musical
entertainment, bingo, cards, exercise to music, cookery
and gardening all take place.
At 2.30 afternoon tea is served in the Dome. The daily
Rosary takes place in the Dome at 4.30pm.
5.00pm is supper time, followed by rest, relaxation,
TV, whatever the residents choice.
Bed time snacks and night caps are served from 8.00pm
onwards.
Bedtime is by time of choice, with assistance as required.
