Our home welcomes a wide range of residents of varying needs and levels of dependency. We care for the long and short term stay, geriatric, post-operative, convalescent, physically disabled, the terminally ill and day care requirements. Short term respite care is available and we also provide a day care service.
Beech Lodge Nursing Home Care Services include the Convalescence and Post Operative Care Plan, which assists individuals with recuperation and recovery post surgery and hospitalisation. These residents benefit greatly from daily physiotherapy during their rehabilitation period.
Beech Lodge Nursing Home enlists the necessary assistance from the health care professionals to determine the following for each of our residents
- Nursing care: In house physiotherapy, Tissue Viability Specialist.
- Assessment and referral services: Psychiatric Support, Occupational Therapist.
-Resident and care giving support;
- Physical therapy;
- Recreation and socialisation opportunities;
- Nutrition, laundry and housekeeping services: Dietician
- Medical services in collaboration with the family physician;
- Self-care, health promotion, and prevention of illness, or injury: Dentist, Optician, Acupuncturist, Beautician.
- Drug therapy as prescribed by GP, dispensed by pharmacy duty. Available on short notice at any time.
